V
Victory and Tragedy

We have much to be thankful for in 2005 - the victory of the pro-family Coalition parties  in Australia vs. the feminist-dominated Labor Party, and the victory of the  pro-life Bush Administration in the USA vs. the pro-abortion  Democrats.  Neither of the winning  political parties is perfect -  but they are a great deal better than the alternative.

Self-destructive behaviour by women who have had an abortion shows up in study of Finnish women.

Co-sponsors Senator Sam Brownback  (R, KS) and Rep. Chris Smith (R, NJ) have introduced an  “Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act”  in the US Congress.  Based on growing scientific evidence that a fetus does feel pain, the bill would require doctors to inform women seeking abortions that the procedure will  cause pain to their unborn child. It would give a woman the option of providing anesthesia to her unborn child.

Getting Religion

Following the ALP debacle in the October 2004 Federal elections, there has been a realisation among some Labor MPs  that  they  will not win government until they begin to empathise  with   the  moral values of  many church attending Australian voters.  In the last census, 70% of    Australians identified themselves as Christian; only 20% attend church regularly, but that 20% is an important constituency because  they  vote on issues and are not motivated solely by economics.

Deceived Again!

New Lancet study (quietly) reveals hidden abortion-breast cancer link in Australian women

Backyard Distortions

As senior government figures state their view that there are too many abortions, especially late abortions, and as pro-choice voices raise the spectre of backyard deaths if abortions are restricted by law, it is time to correct the historical and clinical misconceptions surrounding the “myth” of the backyard butcher.

Human Life International

Human Life International exposes Kissinger – UN population control program used to control developing nations and their natural resources.

Blind Faith of Feminism

It is important for us to  remember  that Jesus Christ had several women as friends, followers, and supporters. He saved a woman from being stoned to death, and appeared for the first time after His resurrection to women.

What our Mothers Didn’t Tell Us

Young women are the unhappy victims of “ the feminism of their mothers’ generation”, says Danielle Crittenden in “What Our Mothers Didn't Tell Us”. Though they usually don't realize it, feminism has "seeped into their minds like intravenous saline into the arm of an unconscious patient."

Non-embryonic Stem Cell Successes

In the October 2004 issue of the Endeavour Forum Newsletter  I wrote how we were more likely to get clinical help to treat disease from the tooth fairy than from killing embryos to harvest their stem cells.  New research confirms my view.   Hematologist Dr. Stan Gronthos told the New Zealand Herald, "Parents will want to store the stem cells found in the pulp inside these juvenile teeth in liquid nitrogen.
