Victory For Joe
Joe Scheidler, the hero of many pro-life campaigns has finally been vindicated. The US Supreme Court ruled in February 2003 that a federal racketeering law (RICO) cannot be used to prosecute pro-life campaigners who picket abortion clinics. The ruling in the case of Scheidler v NOW (National Organization of Women) was welcomed by pro-life groups and by the Catholic Church. Cathy Cleaver, director of planning and information at the US Catholic.
Angela’s Visitation
The lecture tour of Australia and New Zealand by breast surgeon, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, MD, FACS, certainly created quite a firestorm. There was further criticism and an editorial on the llth February.

I met Professor Belsky in London last year, and he is not at all traditional or conservative in his views. However, he is honest about the research.
Women's Death Rate Following Abortion Much Higher than Previously Known
A study published in the August edition of the Southern Medical Journal reveals that women who have abortions are at significantly higher risk of near and long term death than women who give birth. This contradicts the widely accepted opinion that abortion is safer than childbirth. Researchers examined death records linked to Medi-Cal payments for births and abortions for approximately 173,000 low income Californian women.
