Charles Francis, AM, RFD, QC We congratulate Charles Francis QC, honorary legal adviser to Endeavour Forum, who was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Australia Day Honours on 26th January 2003. Charles Francis, who already has a Reserve Forces Decoration (RFD) received his AM for "service to the law, particularly as a contributor to the process of legal and administrative reform, and to the community by facilitating public access to the legal system". Charles has given selflessly of his time in advising and acting for pro-lifers praying outside abortion clinics. He has acted for several Christian schools, and for women injured by abortion. The settlements he achieved for women suffering psychological trauma and for the failure of abortionists to warn them of their increased risk of breast cancer are believed to be the first legal cases of this kind in the world. Charles has had a distinguished career at the Bar, and has spoken in Australia, the UK, USA, Prague, Switzerland, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand on issues of Human Rights and United Nations Treaties. PRAYER Gen. .2 -24. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. They shall become as one flesh". Heb. 13.4. “Marriage should be honoured by all and the marriage bed be kept pure”. Prov. 18..22. “Who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord”. Prov. 22.6. “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it”. Heavenly Father, Your Word teaches us that you designed marriage for our happiness and the rearing of children to know Your Word and experience Your love. We pray, Heavenly Father, that the forces in society that seek to destroy Christian marriage, the foundation of our society will be defeated. We ask in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
