The meeting
will be chaired by Mr. Peter Westmore, President, National
Civic Council.
The Opening Prayer will be said by
His Lordship Bishop Peter Elliott, Auxiliary Bishop of
Melbourne.
Speakers: the Hon. Bernie Finn, MLC: "So,
you say you're pro-life???" and Mr. Steven Mosher, President,
Population Research Institute: "Welcome baby 7 billion".
David Perrin, President of the Australian Family Association,
and Babette Francis will present the Phyllis Schlafly
awards, after which David will give the vote of thanks.
The
meeting will be followed by supper. All welcome. $10

Not “Sophie’s Choice”
The 1982 award-wining film “Sophie’s Choice” starring
Meryl Streep was about a woman who was forced by the
Nazis to choose between her two young children - one would
be sent to a children's camp, the other would be gassed.
"Sophie" had to choose or both would be killed...
How free are we?
During President Obama's visit to Australia in November
2011, he pledged to promote peace, democracy and economic
prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region and said that
while he welcomed the rise of a peaceful China, he rejected
that country's one-party political system. He added
that "history is on the side of the free and that prosperity
without freedom is another form of poverty"...
