It's the stories the Leftie media don't cover that are the real news

Most of the media bias that we complain about happens before the story ever hits the airwaves or the papers. The real bias is in the stories they decide not to cover, compared with those that deserve the full wall-to-wall CNN hysteria treatment.

For months, the Left-wing media in the U.S. failed to cover the trial of an abortion doctor who killed babies, and I'm not talking unborn babies, I'm talking about full-term babies born and butchered by the monster Kermit Gosnell. Their mothers were abused and often left for dead. Not until Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist shamed the media into covering that story did they do so.

The militants seeking to destroy Lyle Shelton are coming after all of us

Two drag queens are each suing former Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) head Lyle Shelton for $20,000 and demanding a public apology. His crime? Daring to suggest that their "performance" in a Queensland public library was not appropriate for little children.

Lyle Shelton wrote on December 6: "The freedom of every Australian in on trial. The Sunday Mail today revealed what the two drag queens suing me want. In short, $20,000 and an apology. However, the paper didn't report everything. Critical to the story is their key legal demand: that I be gagged. Forever. (See Orders sought, 18 (c) on page 5.).

Their legal action, supported by the taxpayer-funded LGBT Legal Service, is a warning shot to every concerned parent in Australia. Don't criticise Drag Queen Story Time. Or else."

I have been warning about how our children are being directly targeted by the activists — including via the drag queen story times — for years now.

'Diabolical' U.S. Democrats ban words like 'father' and 'mother'

It's now clear that U.S. House Democrat leadership's descent into depravity is complete. According to newly revealed House rules for the just-begun 117th Congress, terms such as "father, daughter, mother, and son" as well as gendered pronouns are banned.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the new rules reflect "the views and values of the full range of our historically diverse House Democratic Majority".

And as if to make the depravity of their obsession with gender inclusiveness abundantly clear, during yesterday's first session of the new year Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (Democrat, Missouri) ended the opening prayer by declaring "Amen, and Awoman".

To the ancient Biblical Hebrew word "Amen", which means "May it be so", Cleaver added a made-up nonsensical word, because "Amen" sounds to Democrats like an offensive reference to males.

All this cannot be written off as the silliness of political correctness within the Democratic Party. It's not silly at all; it's diabolical.

Dutch doctors can now drug dementia patients before killing them to prevent resistance

A few years ago, Dutch doctor Marinou Arends attended to her dementia patient in a nursing home. Arends wasn't there to treat her, but to kill her via lethal injection.

To make it easier, Arends drugged her patient's coffee, a violation of euthanasia rules. But in the midst of the termination, the patient woke up, saw what was happening, and began to struggle. The doctor instructed the family to hold the resisting patient down while she finished her off.

That would seem to be murder and a criminal prosecution was mounted. But this is Euthanasia Land. The Dutch Supreme Court later lauded the doctor for her good intentions and dismissed all criminal complaints.

Now, the Dutch have reacted to the case to create specific rules governing the euthanasia of dementia patients. Of course they now allow drugging to prevent resistance!

The fury of the fatherless

The vast majority of incarcerated juveniles have grown up in fatherless homes. Teen and other mass murderers almost invariably have filial rupture in their biographies. Absent fathers predict higher rates of truancy, psychiatric problems, criminality, promiscuity, drug use, rape, domestic violence, and other lessthan- optimal outcomes.

A thirty-year battle for mothers

John Bowlby's Attachment and Loss trilogy had a profound effect on me and made sense of the battle that had raged in me and the anxiety I felt before I gave up on work. It explained it to me as the necessary biological imperative it is; one that women should not deny, for their children's wellbeing and for the sake of each new generation.

It explained my guilt, not as irrational but as a protective reflex for the baby. No wonder that organised outsourcing of baby and infant care, all for the sake of female equality, was bound to be fraught. My heart and mind told me that Bowlby was right. It was insensitive, unintelligent, bad for baby and bad for me. And, as I learned over time, bad for families too.

Motherhood was not an inferior role — it was the prior one. A working woman can be replaced. I, as a mother, could not be.
