Life Coalition Dinner

Richard Dalla-Riva and Mrs. Babette Francis with the Charles Francis Life Award at the Life Coalition dinner on 27th June 2015 at Mannix College, Clayton.
With nearly 300 guests in attendance, the Life Dinner was a great night with an inspiring talk from Mary Doogan (UK) who later also entertained us with music. She has witnessed with her life and suffered for her convictions but has not given up.
It is with humble gratitude that Ben and Tanya would like to publicly thank Babette Francis and family for presenting them with the 'Charles Francis Life Award'.
With so many worthy candidates, Ben and Tanya accepted the award on behalf of the Helpers and in loving memory of Babette's late husband Charles. He supported the Helpers' early work before the group became the Helpers of God's Precious Infants. He used his Queen's Counsel expertise to defend our work in the courts. Charles is remembered for speaking with conviction when he said that "we have a duty and right to be outside the abortion businesses".
The highlight of the dinner was hearing the news from Helpers, Fabijan and Kristina, that they are adopting a second child, a sister for their first adopted child!
It was a great joy that the Helpers had a 'turnaround'
on the morning of the Life Dinner. Tanya
