This year our small team attending the 60th session of the
Commission on the Status of Women in New York consisted
of Abigail Meadows, Radio/TV Host from Atlanta, Georgia,
Karyn Darnell-Registered Nurse, from California and
myself. We attended during the second week of CSW.
We met with the Ambassador to Samoa, his First Secretary and Women's Health Representative. We had opportunity to bring the message of Life to many NGO leaders from around the world, and to many delegates at the United Nations.
Then we were honoured to meet with the Ambassador to
Botswana,Charles T. Ntwaaga, his First Secretary and Minister
of Women's Health and they were very interested in
our work, we look forward to them co-sponsoring an event
with us next year at the UN.
We also met with Delegates from Canada, South Africa and Italy.
Endeavour Forum Inc. and the JMJ Children's Fund of Canada hosted two Parallel Events featuring Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, Prof. Joel Brind and myself. Abigail & Aketch Aimba from Kenya also shared their testimonies on the pain of abortion.
We showed the documentary HUSH at the Endeavour Forum Inc. Parallel Event which was chaired by Eve Silver, of the International Coalition of Color for Life and the US Liaison for the Hush Liaison Film Screening.
Thank you to all donors for making possible our venture
at CSW 60 in New York. Your support is invaluable
