Endeavour Forum Inc. Public Meeting Celebrating our 39th birthday

2pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the O'Hanlon Centre, Mitchell St, Mentone, Vic. 3194. The meeting will be chaired by Mrs Jenny Stokes, former research officer of Salt Shakers, and the opening prayer will be said by the Most Rev. Bishop Peter Elliott. Keynote speakers are the Hon. Kevin Andrews, a senior federal Liberal MP from Victoria, and Mr Damian Wyld, CEO of Marriage Alliance and director of Australian Family Coalition. The vote of thanks will be given by Mr Michael Treacy, president, Family Council of Victoria, who will assist Babette Francis in presenting the Phyllis Schlafly awards.

The Trump Presidency

It is usual for political commentators both from the left and the right to criticise U.S. President Donald Trump. Sure, he is a flawed human being, but so are the rest of us. However, he is the most pro-life President the U.S. has ever had. He has:-

1) Chosen Mike Pence to be Vice-President.

2) Appointed Justice Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

3) Delivered a speech in October celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month, in which he affirmed the "inherent dignity" of people with Down syndrome, declaring: "Sadly, there remain too many people who still see Down syndrome as an excuse to ignore or discard human life. This sentiment is and will always be tragically misguided."

4) Been assiduous in weeding out any abortion funding in U.S. foreign aid, even when it is buried in what looks like benign "family planning" or "maternal health" promotion programs.

And he clearly sends Christmas greetings to his nation and others by saying "Merry Christmas", not just the milksop of "Happy Holidays".
